si puo` vedere l'inizio del primo tunnel.
the third step...
the upper half is almost done. Now the tunnels are almost invisible at a very first sight.
The tunnels are very narrow ( for an adult's hand will be hard pass trought) and dangerous too for numberless iron sticks ends here. Actually I have melted and rounded every single ends of iron stick so their cannot puck or scratch and yet the feeling of danger remain.

la parte superiore e` quasi finita. Ora i tunnel sono quasi invisibili ad un primo sguardo. Sono molto stretti (la mano di un adulto fatica a passare) e anche pericolosi in quanto la fine di innumerevoli ferri termina in questi tunnel. In realta` ho fuso e smussato ogni singolo capo dei tondini in modo tale che non possono ne pungere ne graffiare, comunque il senso di pericolo rimane.

ora la parte inferiore della sfera di ferro e praticamente finita. Controllo che la sfera di legno ( ancora da rifinire ) si posizioni dentro perfettamente .... tutto a posto!

sixth step...
the wooden sphere made by canphor tree.
50 cm of diameter for about 40/50 kg.... too much weight! so heavy I risk to be out of 200kg weight limits given by the museum for the whole sculpture. The iron parts are already about 160kg. Yes probably , if at the museum are not too strict on the rules I should let it....but what about if they are? And anyway handle just by my self and carefully a sphere of 50kg at almost 60cm afar and setting in center of the iron half sphere , well, will be not so easy ... I have to make it lighter. For this purpose I can't touch the outside for I have to keep the dimension as it is.

la sfera in legno di canfora.
50 cm di diametro per circa 40/50 kg ... e` troppo! cosi` rischio di essere fuori dai limiti di 200 kg fissati dal museo per l'intera scultura. La parte in ferro del lavoro pesa intorno ai 160kg. Si, forse potrei anche lasciarla cosi se al museo non sono troppo rigidi sulle regole, ma se lo sono? E comunque maneggiare con cura e da solo 50kg di sfera a 60cm di distanza per sistemarla al centro della mezza sfera di ferro non e` molto semplice. Devo farla piu` leggera. A questo scopo non posso toccare l'esterno per tenere queste dimensioni, quindi devo tagliarla in due, scavare l'interno delle due meta` lasciando uno spessore di circa 4/5 cm e riunirle di nuovo.
